I think a person on the team is not so happy with me. I am tired of her pushing back for some reason or another on every single thing I ask her to pick up. I don’t mind once and awhile - I understand people are busy etc. She always pushes back though - and spends a lot of time bitching about other people not doing their jobs.
This time I had enough - she is responsible for a certain queue this week and everyone knows that on Friday - especially before a long weekend - we get escalations like crazy.
EVERYONE on the team is busy.
I noticed there were 4 tasks that had been escalated that were just sitting there so I asked her to pick them up.
She said she was too busy (not with escalations with other things).
Last straw for me - busy is one thing but escalations are priority - you are to pretty much drop everything for an escalation.
I wrote back and asked her which team member she proposes I pull off their task to complete hers.
I don’t think she was terribly happy.
