Brain Bubbles Returned
Always learning.
Went shopping this evening with 24, have a wedding to go to Saturday and a new job starting on Tuesday. My wardrobe sucks - although not so much now.
She probably thinks I do it to get some sort of revenge or something.
I make her tired and aggravated when we shop, not on purpose really, and she is extremely patient.
Even when I tell her those pants are never ever going to fit me…muttering that they aren’t going to get past my thighs as I am putting them on…then they fit!! :)
I just tried to tell myself logically that it is because I have a very bad self image, they have done studies about how it whacks out what you see when you look in the mirror. I didn’t get through the entire sentence before my brain told me I was making up stories and what I see in the mirror is completely accurate, then started sending me more bad messages.
I am getting better though because I have been buying things that are outside my normal comfort zone…and wearing them.
Last one, then I will be done my photo bombing for the day.
I ran across this one while looking at others, kept it for posterity.
Corvidae30 HATED this haircut although he tried to be good about it.
The stylist straightened it, normally my hair is quite unruly. Corvidae30 wouldn’t touch it until I had washed it and the curl came back.
Straight hair doesn’t suit my personality.
So I did manage to take my camera to work today and I didn’t need a reminder.
Unfortunately the two pictures I took were:
- first thing in the morning when I got into the office - from the office window.
- when I got home from work, after finding soup and a note from Corvidae30 (the sweetie).
But it is progress!
Note: the soup was much appreciated.
