You know what I love…being told to change my PIN when I travel. I understand there are differences and security things (although the format we have been asked to change it to is less secure than the ones we currently have). Let us think about this for a second though…
When you are creating a PIN or password for anything you are supposed to do strong passwords, nothing from the dictionary, no double-letters, mix of characters, numbers and letters (upper and lower case), shorter ones are easier to guess, nothing personal, don’t use the same or similar PIN/password for all your accounts, and NEVER write it down.
Makes sense, really I understand…except…
How many PINs/passwords do you have?
